Madchen Amick, whose television credits include roles in the shows "ER" and "Twin Peaks," will co-star opposite Christian Slater on NBC's fall drama series "My Own Worst Enemy."

In the lead role, Slater plays a man who leads a double life -- as Henry, a mild-mannered suburban dad, and Edward, a suave spy. Amick will play Henry's wife, who has no idea about his other identity. She replaces Yara Martinez, who originally was cast in the role.

"Enemy," which premieres October 13, will air in the plum post-"Heroes" Monday 10 p.m. slot.
